Still missing (I live in hope) an African Gray Parrot, answers to the name`s of "APOLLO, APY, POLLO" lost at appropriately 16.00 hours on the 03/03/11, he flew away from our back garden & was last seen heading for the fields at Chirnside Sport Centre in Paris Milton (G22 North Glasgow), but could be two or sixty two miles in either direction (or it could possibly be back in Africa by now, as it has been over fourteen months since his great escape) we have both still been out searching for him locally & we`re still at an impasse .
He could be in your garden, doo-kit, tree, bush or bird feeder, your loft space or maybe roof. He is pretty friendly & will come up on you if found if a little wearily, he whistles the theme to "Close encounters of the third kind" & whistles that quite loudly if you can steer his human pets (anyone of us) we will be eternally grateful, even if you`re the local village idiot & phone us say " I`ve found him & he`s now whistling the tune from Dr Who or something like that or is it the Big bang theory " or even East enders, River city, all help would be welcomed (no matter how insane they sound).
The photo`s are not of him, but he still looks pretty much the same (but a lot more ragged now) but possibly less friendly.
So we are tending a very large (£££££££) reward (no questions asked) for sightings or capture of him, so tell your kids & neighbours (and village idiots, who keep phoning and saying "I`ve found his wing or head" the fuc&ing dumb asses but it is their phone so who cares) to be on the look out for this very unusual bird, as his human kid associates miss him already. Contact me at the above Email if you have sighted him or Phone number (by call or Text any-time) if you have found him anywhere & managed to capture him by throwing a large towel or jacket over him, if he`s on the ground & I`ll get back to you quickly with the cash (££££££££££) or alternately contact the RSPCA in shamrock street or anybody who can assist you in our hour of need.
