Introduction to Improv Workshop
8-week comprehensive course - Introduction to Improv - introduces and teaches the skills of short-form improv from beginning to performance level, including:
Character development
Finding and emphasising 'the game' of comedy/improv
Gibberish and Non-verbal communication
How to give and receive offers
Imagination and mime
Spatial understanding and physical awareness
Status
This course is ideal for a wide range of individuals: from actors and comedians who are looking to advance their skill set; to those merely interested in improv and trying something new. These course caters to all skills sets (from beginners to expert improvisers) and all are welcomed!
*No previous improv experience required*
Upon completion of the course, course attendees will have the opportunity to perform their newly obtained (or refined) improv skills at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival! (participation is optional but highly recommended as it is great fun!).
