Are you really good at altering clothes,need someone to walk your dog etc. Whatever your skill may be, use it to help and bring together your community and get help you need in return!
At the SkillSwapper site you can list your skills and then let everyone else know what you're looking for. For example"I will weed your garden in exchange for putting up a shelf" or "I will do your ironing in exchange for some computer advice."
The aim of the group is to make the most of the many skills already here in our community. Everyone has a skill of some kind and most people would be happy to swap that for something that is needed by them.
To make this work we do need some rules that everyone needs to follow:
1. No money changes hands
2. Be fair to each other i.e. swaps need to reflect useful and balanced help for each other.
3. No offensive, rude or vulgar material to be posted on here,don't bring any rows on to the boards.
4. Look after yourself! Please be mindful of your personal safety whilst on-line - don't share personal details, take care when carrying out a swap - let someone know where you are and what you are doing.
5. No more than 3 wanted posts during a 31 day period.This gives everyone a fair chance
