184 Squadron Air Cadets is a military organisation supported by the Royal Air Force. Our Squadron is currently ranked 5th within the East Cheshire and South Manchester Wing.
Each recruit shall have the opportunity of learning new worthwhile skills, such as: Navigation, Shooting, Initial Expedition Training, Fieldcraft, Radio Communication, and above all flying experience both powered and in a glider.
Once they have passed their initial training as Junior Cadets, the opportunities they are able to do in the Air Cadets widens even more. They are entitled to scholarships such as the Air Cadet Gliding Scholarship which is flying training to solo standard at which a cadet would fly a Viking or Vigilant on their own. There are many more personal skills which they will learn and develop one being leadership and team working skills.
184 Squadron Air Cadets is under the command of a commissioned oficer, Flt Lt Sam Holland. He is also supported by both non-commissioned officers and volunteers.
