London Marathon Volunteers

Marie Curie Cancer Care has around 200 runners taking part in this year's Virgin London Marathon which takes place on Sunday 22nd April. To support them we have a cheer stations on route and at the finish line and a post race reception to be held at the Charing Cross Hotel. We are looking for volunteers to help on the cheer stations in Greenwich, Wapping, Docklands, Tower Bridge and Embankment and at the finish line on The Mall to cheer and support our runners around the route. There are various shifts, depending on the location, between 9am and 5.30pm.
We are also looking for volunteers to help at our post race reception in the Charing Cross Hotel. This will involve meeting and greeting runners, helping to organise the shower and massage area and keeping the well deserved refreshments topped up. These roles take place between 11.30am and 5.30pm.
This is an excellent opportunity to support a great cause and be a key part in this prestigious London event.
