Yaron a professional drummer/percussionist based in London. As a drummer and percussionist (mainly frame drums) who also does vocals, composes music in variety of musical colors, and looks for the visual side of the performance Yaron gives a unique touch to every project he is involved with.

CV:
Born in Haifa, Israel. Since 2009 lives in London, UK. Yaron started his way as a versatile drummer and percussionist who was always very open to new ideas. Later on he began exploring the world of composition and nowdays he dedicates his time for both areas. In the last 10 years he was working in numerous theaters investigating his musical and visual language as a drummer, percussionist and a composer.

Yaron is the Musical Director and the choreographer of the drum section in the TAPEPLAS (www.tapeplas.com) - a company with a unique style of tap dance, music and rhythm. He is the composer of the soundtracks of the shows MONKEYS (2006) and BoomBach (2005) with which the company has performed all over Spain and internationally in the U.S., Germany and Italy.

Yaron is also the lead percussion player of the Hofesh Shechter Company (www.hofesh.co.uk) and is touring with the company in the world tour with the piece In Your Rooms (2008 - 2010). Yaron has been collaborating with Shechter in various projects since 2004.

Additional works as a freelance drummer and percussionist in Israel, U.S., and Spain since 1995 include: The musical Fame, Keshev Ketzev, Tawanda, Ari Gorali, 40º, Yoni Embar , The Tommy Moors Blues Trio and Vitrage among others.

Yaron graduated Summa Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music in Boston U.S.A. in 2003. He teaches classes and workshops of drums, percussion and improvisation, working with dancers and musicians around the world.
