Leftbank Open Mic Night – Every Wednesday from 8pm

At Leftbank Bristol, we have a fantastic open mic night every Wednesday with our fabulous host - the talented Oliver Dennison himself.

In the setting of an ambient and relaxed bar on Stokes Croft (it’s like a home from home) there is an open stage kitted with a house guitar, drums and PA for musicians of all genres to showcase themselves and jam with other musicians of all levels.

Old friends and newcomers bring an interesting and eclectic mix of styles and instruments creating and sharing some fantastic music and there’s usually a big, open jam to round off the night.

The beauty of Leftbank is that everyone gets to play in a supportive atmosphere, cleverly hosted by Olly, and it doesn’t dwindle early, oh no! Bands and musicians can entertain you way past the midnight hour.

It's a great social night, a great way to pick up new ideas and make new musical friends - even Joss Stone popped in and had a sing song! Yep, Joss Stone - what a voice!
