Yorkshire Band of the Royal British Legion

The Yorkshire Band of the Royal British Legion is a newly formed band based at the TA centre on Wakefield Road in Barnsley. This is a an exciting venture which will aim to support the hard work of the Royal British Legion charity. The band forms a concert/marching band and already has engagements booked into 2013.
Rehearsals are held on a Monday evening between 7.30pm and 9.30pm. We are recruiting from the age of 18 upwards and of approx grade 6 standard although having passed an examination is not important. We will not have auditions as such but every member of the band will have opportunity to show their capability/standard to the Musical Director during the rehearsal.
