The free Harry Potter Tour and London Treasure Hunt is available for parents and children to enjoy a day out with a difference in London.
Beginning at Temple Underground Station you make your way around the places that have been used as film locations in the Harry Potter films.
* Visit the stately Commission the interior of which was used for Gringotts Bank.
* Make your way to the tucked away alleyway that many London guides believe provided the inspiration for Diagon Alley.
* Enter a mysterious shop that sells magic props and where you can watch demonstrations of magic performed right in front of your eyes.
* Discover the corner where the phone box was located via which Harry and Mr Weasley descend in to the Ministry of Magic in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
* Go in to the Underground Station that caused Mr Wesley much confusion in the same film
* Walk over the bridge that the Knight Bus drove over.
* Make your way to the entrance to the Leaky Cauldron.
* Take a stroll through the beautiful Victorian Market where the exterior shots of Diagon Alley were filmed.
* See the site of the first Leaky Cauldron.
* Travel by Tube to King's Cross Railway Station and have a photograph taken pushing a trolley into the wall of Platform nine and three quarters.
* Stand on the spot where Harry and Ron found and made off with the Ford Anglia Car.
However, this is a Harry Potter Tour with a difference since it is also a Free London Treasure Hunt.
The children will be kept occupied throughout with tasks such as finding the answers to questions about statues and street furnishings and enjoying a delightful day going in and out of many of London's most secret and fascinating places.
